Below is a list of all the DVLA vehicle registration offices. You will need to visit one of these offices or post your documents to assign your number plate to your vehicle. If you have a number plate on your vehicle you would like to keep ( put onto retention ) you can do all of this at the DVLA offices.

You will need the following documents.

1. Certificate of entitlement.
2. V5 Log book.
3. Tax disc,
4. MOT Certificate if vehicle is over 3 years old.

If you live a long way from one of the DVLA offices or can not make it in the week as the DVLA offices are closed on Saturdays. We can organise to conduct the transfer for you we would need all of the above documents.

Once you have transferred the number plate onto your vehicle you can put the acrylic number plates on your vehicle. YOU MUST NOT PUT THE ACRYLIC NUMBER PLATES ON THE CAR UNTILL YOU HAVE TRANSFERRED THE REGISETRATION. You will get a replacement tax disc with the correct registration mark your V5 Log book will come through the post in 2 weeks.
